ContentHe comments on the report on Kazantzakis' illness. They are about to leave for Switzerland. Reports on the failure to perform the Greek Passion in London. Negotiates a premiere for June 1958 at the Zurich Festival. He also mentions the offer of a Dutch festival, but prefers Switzerland. There will probably be some more changes at the director's suggestion. A piano lift and translation are being worked on. The [publishing] contract is finally signed. They leave for Basel at the end of the month, then they will be in Paris for a few days, and from 15 October [1957] they will live in Schönenberg (he gives the exact address).
