ContentThey are enchanted by Rome. He has finished Act 3 (he writes below that this act is not yet final). He will deal with the wedding scene [at the beginning of Act 4]. He is missing the lyrics to two or three songs that are sung at the wedding (outside the church). He does not have the words to the song "Isaiah, rejoice". He asks for help. He is satisfied with his work, wants to invite Kazantzakis to the premiere in Zurich, who is still interested in opera. He would like to meet him and his mistress again in Geneva. He asks about Kazantzakis's book on St. Francis and his Odyssey.
