ContentBohuslav Martinů explains that he has nothing personal against Karel Šebánek, although he is indignant. He complains that KS has not answered any of his questions from previous letters, e.g. about the [Ultraphon] recording, the materials and the translation of JULIETTE. He has therefore decided to take action and, due to his exclusive contract with Boosey & Hawkes, this firm will represent all his works, including those published by Melantrich. KS is to expect a letter to this effect from Boosey and Hawkes and also an invitation to London. He gives reasons for his decision. He has also taken some steps to get his money from Prague. He admits that if he had been treated better (in CSR) he might have returned, but so far they have done nothing except promise. He asks about the plans for the new headquarters in Melantrich. It is possible that he will go to Paris; KS is to write to him at Marcel Mihalovici's address in Paris (he gives it). BM is not worried about his position, he is able and willing to defend himself, he is not dependent on anyone. BM needs to talk to KS during the holidays, he hopes to be in Paris.
