Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů announces that he has completed Parabolas, which he will immediately send to Boston to Charles Munch. He hopes he will like the piece. He asks him for a check for $1,000 to pay his income tax. He has not received a reply to his previous letter, so he asks the publisher for operating rights for two years. He asks when he will need sheet music for the orchestra and if he is able to conduct from a copy of the manuscript (he has difficulty with his right hand - hence the apparently poor legibility). She recommends him a successful oratorio, EPOS ON GILGAMES, which he could perform in Berkshire. If he is interested, he will send him the score, which is in English. He is also interested to know if he will be going to Prague this year. BM would love to visit his siblings who are now of an advanced age. They are now staying with friends of the Sachers.
