Content and physical description
ContentHe thanks you for your letter from Venice, he was delighted. He will send her a postcard from Paris, he will go there on Monday. She wrote that Schlee has come to Matrei (?) and that she does not know if he (she, OS) will stay in Venice till Friday, she is not sure. He sent her money to buy and read a book about him. He finished the second movement of the sonata. He thinks about her all the time, wakes up at night. He's cold there. He hopes OS will find a good job. He remembers the summer, but now he has to work - he and she. He'll be in America in two weeks, but he'd rather go to Milan. She is to write him what she is doing. She told Schlee correctly that she (BM) will come to Europe next year, they will be busy. She is not to accept Schlee's offer to be his secretary in the summer. He got a form from N. Y. from the [Guggenheim] Foundation, he can get $3,000 for writing an opera. He regrets not going to Venice with her.
