Content and physical description
ContentHe had already replied to a previous letter, but to the wrong address. However, it's a good thing, because so far he has changed his mind. He suggests that he would rework his drama about St. Wenceslas into a heroic mystery, but for the whole evening, both because of the nature of the material and the audience. His play about St. Wenceslas is still being advertised at the National Theatre. Perhaps a musicalised version could be performed somewhere in the Castle. He wants Martinů to say what kind of adaptation he would need and what kind of timescale he envisages [Martinů originally suggested collaborating on the preparation of PLAYS ABOUT MARY]. He states his financial terms.
