Content and physical description
ContentBM found out that the letter from the consulate was sent on 8/10, Loewenbach is to see that they actually get it (the aid) done. He informs about his financial situation - it is bad. Another problem is that UE still hasn't published the Concerto grosso, yet it is in great demand and often played. BM wants to know if there is any way to take the manuscript to Universal and have the work published elsewhere, preferably by Melantrich. He's working on a quartet for oboe... The piano concerto is difficult to compose due to health problems, he'll let us know by Christmas. He praises his pupil Jan Novák. Almost all his Berkshire pupils have returned to him, but BM has only taken two.
