Content and physical description
ContentThe SN is to ask whether the quartet must be "not executed". BM wrote new Polkas and sent them to Šolc, who may not be able to play them, but SN has to convince him (Šolc has to play them for him, but one still has to be picked up from Zdena). Dlouhý is to tell him the date of the concert (?). He informs about changes in the quartet and in the end he writes about his interpretative ideas and some doubts. He argues about the piano things SN was supposed to give to Šolc (and didn't). He praises the piano stuff, especially "Snow". He also writes about working on a full-length ballet to his own libretto by J. M. Barrie. He borrows some of Wagner's scores and judges from them that his instrumentation is not bad. He has no news from the National Theatre. He has written a new libretto for Berger.
