Content	BM would like to oblige him about the oboe, but time is running out. Have him try to ask the radio to book a concert for oboe and orchestra. They'd get the first performance. He would only ask for what he would spend during the work, about 3-4 months - an expenditure of about $1000. It's worth a shot, maybe he'd find some patrons in Sydney. He wrote a quartet with oboe but it is not yet published, he would have to approach Boosey & Hawkes. Of course, the oboe is not concertante.
