Content and physical description
ContentTo BM's letter of 27.11, he says that he gave the score of the Three Wishes to Klemperer about a month ago; he expects a reply from him daily; he met Herzka, who was in Berlin for the premiere of The Bagpiper's Swan; Herzka was aware that the Three Wishes were 'in the State Opera House here'; praised BM highly and reported that BM had requested cancellation of the contract with UE; Herzka further reported that the Berlin theatres will perform about 10 new works this season, "perhaps all" from UE, and thus the theatres are "almost jammed" and H. H. would have to try to get Three Wishes "out [on the stage] at least for the next year"; he received The Cry back from Scheinpflug, who could not place it; Mr. Peterk also failed to place The Cry in Aachen; H. wants to continue to try to place it; he returns a copy of the critic's copy with thanks.
