Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes to Charlotte Martinů that today is the premiere of SYMPHONY No. 5 and that he is thinking of her. He asks about her feelings on her return and the possibility of staying in France or with the Sachers. He has received her letter with a suggestion from [Jiří] Mucha that they stay somewhere near Pilsen. It might not be bad. Charles [Munch] could stay here in the apartment, but it is difficult to find someone to clean it, it is impossible to count on Mrs. Raymond. Rudolph [Firkušný] leaves Sunday, won't see him until next year. The situation in Europe is not very encouraging. [Alén] Diviš saw ChM in Prague.
