Content- sends the third movement of the Concertante Duo and apologizes once again for the piano excerpt, which is not at all well done - but it is quite difficult to squeeze the music into a piano score - which he did not want to overcomplicate (...) ;
- let the addressees go through the third movement and follow the same procedure as for the preceding movements - and if they find something technically inappropriate in the violin parts, let them correct it --- for example, the second violin, at the beginning - NOT in the letter, with a question mark ;
- likewise as to the bow stroke ; the tempo is Allegro - and yet the writer asks that it should not be pushed - that is, that every note should shine with clarity and precision ;
- it has been a pleasure to work on this piece and he is glad that the addressees are satisfied ;
- (...) mention of Ansermet, who has always taken a great interest in the writer;
- back to Paris on the 15th of January (...)
