Content and physical description
ContentCharles Munch proposed to perform SYMPHONY No.6 in Prague, but it was rejected because it was performed this year at a festival (Prague Spring?). He will try to change the programme again. Anyway, they will play it in Munich on 14 September and in Paris on 19 September. It was also played "here" (Boston) and [Hugh] Ross gave a Field Mass - "very nice".
He will be in Paris on 14 August for a few days (he gives his Paris address).
The recording of SYMPHONY No. 6 has not yet been released. Would love to meet Bohuslav Martinů in Paris. His wife is doing very badly, she doesn't recognise anyone.
BM is to write a news item about Sachre, if he can remember.
