Martinů's song Let the Dawn Come, Oh God (Svitaj, Bože, svitaj, H 76) arranges a traditional Slovak folk text. The composition was probably composed in 1912 and survives only in a sketch in the Second Book of Sketches of Vocal and Piano Compositions from 1912 (M 006a-k/D). The recording of the composition was released for the first time by Naxos in 2015 (Martinů: Songs, Vol. 3 – The Rose; Jana Hrochová Wallingerová, Giorgio Koukl).
