II. movement is missing from the score – it is kept at CBM as Aa 39; Halbreich suggests that IV. movement, a part of item Aa 38, is final movement of Martinů's 1st quartet, H 117. Halbreich and the editor of the first edition of H 117 Jan Hanuš say that this was proved by autograph parts of the work from Ladislav Černý's estate located at Prague Conservatory – to the date at IBM we kept autograph parts for movements I–III, the IV. movement is not included is the source and it is not known there are any other sources of the work - the fourth movement is signed 117/A2.
