Content	The National Bank of Czechoslovakia replies to a query as to whether the Melantrich publishing house can pay Bohuslav Martinů's outstanding royalties of CZK 276,417.20 to his account in France. The bank does not allow this transfer for foreign exchange reasons. BM can dispose of the receivable in the Czechoslovak Republic. They also send this letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education for their information.
