Transcript of an interview with Irène Ehrlich, nicknamed Maya, conducted by her son Jacques (Jacky) Ehrlich in 1990-1991:
IE recalls that he and Victor Bauer moved to Paris in October 1934. There were many refugees from Germany. First they stayed in a hotel and then found an apartment in the 14th arrondissement at 16 rue Bardinet. Henri Goetz lived there at the time. IE met the composers Henri Nouveau, Igor Markevitch, Bohuslav Martinů and also several painters there.
