ContentThe Ministry of Education and Culture is responding to a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and commenting on specific points regarding the negotiations with Charlotte Martinů. The Union of Czechoslovak Composers has invited ChM to spend several days in Czechoslovakia. About 14 days ago, all gifts for ChM were sent to the consulate in Paris. They have no further information regarding ChM’s meeting with Václav Kopecký; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to contact the VK secretariat directly. The question of Czechoslovakia’s participation in the Theatre of Nations is currently under discussion; they will provide information on the outcome. They take note of the comment regarding the inclusion of MIRANDOLINA in the repertoire of the Czechoslovak theater.
