Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes to Charlotte that he has received her letter of 12 September. He has no news from Rudolf [Firkušný], perhaps he went straight to Prague. Marie [Martinů] wrote that the food in Prague does not look good and the prices are high. But the situation is the same in the United States. BM disagrees with [Jan] Zrzavý's position. He asks if ChM has seen [Marcelle] de Lacour. The news from home is not good, prices are high and money is disappearing fast. He expresses the hope that they will meet soon. The project with [Josef] Machacek and the photocopy machine did not work out. [Marie] Machacek is better off. BM is coming to meet ChM at the airport, perhaps with [Frank] Rybka coming by car.
