Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes to Charlotte that he has received her letter and is waiting for further news from Paris. He complains about the hot and humid weather in New York, which is causing him discomfort, including a rash. The apartment is tidy thanks to Mrs. Raymond. Marie Machacek is having health problems and has to have an x-ray. BM will go to visit MM. He wonders who ChM will meet in Paris. He mustn't forget about [Čestmir] Puce. Certainly he should not stress about [Marcel Mihalovici] Mihal, there will be something else: the Trio [TRIO FOR FLÉTNU, HOUSLE AND FAGOT] is certainly not yet released. He's also. interested in Charles [Munch], [Arthur] Honegger. He wonders if ChM has seen Alice [Masaryk]. She wrote to him that she was doing well and had been to Switzerland. He also has no news of [Paul and Maja] Sacher and Rudolf [Firkušný].
