Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů hopes that the letters for Charlotte Martinů will arrive in time. He is preparing to leave [from Keene Valley to New York] as the weather is getting colder. So ChM is supposed to be writing to New York, if she hasn't already. She writes about the high prices of fruit and meat in America, including Tanglewood, where the food was expensive and of poor quality. It's a good thing they're staying in the United States until spring. Often [at Rybka's] they have Czech cuisine with dumplings. Wonders how ChM's stay in Paris was.
