ContentJiří Červený recalls the circumstances of the creation of THREE SONGS FOR TEH CABARET "RED SEVEN", composed by Bohuslav Martinů for the Red Seven ensemble. JČ describes his meeting with Martinů in the office of the Red Seven and the circumstances of the commission, including his subjective impressions of the composer and the resulting compositions, and the process of their staging and subsequent incorporation into the ensemble's repertoire.

At the end of his memoirs he mentions that he is sending copies of these three chansons to the Czech Music Fund for its archive.
