Content and physical description
ContentRobert Fitzgerald hopes that Erick Hawkins now likes the text of THE STRANGLER ballet. RF has already used up the time he had to work this summer. The idiom of The Strangler (lullabies, Brothers Grimm fairy tales, fantastical, monstrous) accompanying a young man's dance into adulthood is exactly what RF felt the work needed. Anyway, the text now reads like a piece of theatre.
