Content and physical description
ContentRobert Fitzgerald thanks Erick Hawkins for his letter [HawE 1947-07-13]. RF doesn't want to write a poem, but a performance, and therefore trusts EH's judgement, who has the final say. RF is looking for what words to use because the style in Erick Hawkins' draft did not appeal to RF. Words are symbols that must be found. They will meet next Tuesday at the club over RF's second proposal.
