ContentBohuslav Martinů informs Charlotte Martinů of the uncertainty of his departure. He has a meeting with the conductor [Václav Talich?] and may stay until Wednesday, in which case he would go directly to Paris on Thursday and meet ChM on Friday. He still doesn't know which train he will take, he will decide at the station. He plans to leave as soon as possible, ideally Tuesday night, with the plan to get off at Compiègne and rest at Vieux Moulin. He hopes that nothing has changed and that his sister [Marie Martinů] and [Stanislav] Novák will arrive. At the end of the letter he considers the possibility of leaving on Wednesday evening, arriving in Compiègne on Thursday afternoon, followed by a train journey to Vieux Moulin; if this is not possible, he will go directly to Paris.
