Content and physical description
ContentKarel Boleslav Jirák describes how he was expelled from Czechoslovak Radio and later from Czechoslovakia in general because he refused to give a solo performance to [Bohuslav] Ších. The letter mentions, among other things, that ten summers earlier [Rudolf] Firkušný had played Jirák's Miniatures, Bohuslav Martinů's JULIETTE, Smetana's Czech Dances and, for an encore, Dvořák's At the Old Castle, and Janáček's In the Mists in Washington.
