Content and physical description
ContentKarel Boleslav Jirák was unpleasantly affected by the fact that his Miniatures were not performed. However, he is used to this, and although he is convinced that he never did anything wrong, he is not surprised that his works were not performed much in Czechoslovakia. What he doesn't know is that his music is supposedly allowed to be played again; he has done nothing to rehabilitate himself. He describes negotiations with Czechoslovak musical institutions. He may be forced to use the argument that he is an American citizen - just as [Bohuslav] Martinů was at least 10 years before him.
