Content and physical description
ContentRichard Klos is currently disturbed by the news from the Prague Spring Festival directorate that Paul Sacher has declined an invitation to conduct a composition by Bohuslav Martinů in Prague in 1977. He is said to have another engagement. RK was convinced that PS would be happy to take up this offer, coupled with the promotion of "this brilliant work" by BM [which piece?]. However, he hopes that PS will change his mind, [Josef] Páleníček also wrote to him. The CHF is also dealing with other matters discussed in Prague. The recordings with Jan Zrzavý's drawing will be sent to Chralotta Martinů together with many other BM recordings prepared for her by [Leo] Jehne of Artie (these are recordings with accompanying texts in foreign languages). The CHF will send photographs to ChM, [Joseph] Perchaud and [Zdenka] Podhajská in the next few days. Greetings to Abbot [A.R.] Verbrugge.
