ContentVáclav Talich describes how he is doing with the Czech Philharmonic on tour in London. He is very satisfied with their performance. [At the first concert, 25.11. the prelude to Smetana's Bartered Bride, Dvořák's IX. symphony in E minor, Novák's symphonic poem In the Tatras, Suk's Serenade for strings in E flat major and Dvořák's two Slavic dances. The following day, the program was composed of Smetana's Prelude to the Bartered Bride, Beethoven's Symphony No. IV, Haydn's song Cupid's Arrow with soloist Jarmila Novotna, as well as from Martini LA BAGARRE, Smetana's Šárka and two Slavonic Dances by Antonín Dvořák.]
He also mentions recording with the company His Master's Voice [they recorded Dvořák's VIII. symphony in G major op. 88]
