Content and physical description
ContentVáclav Talich writes an optimistic letter to Vida Talichová. Despite the financial shortfalls, he is doing well and feels all the more motivated to work. Radiojournal accepted his proposal for a program that would perform Dvořák's Symphony No. 7 in D minor, Novák's piano piece Touha, Suk's symphonic poem Praga, and an [uncredited] Martin piece.
[November V. Radiojournal's representative concert within the International Radio Union concerts; see the article by J.B., Talich als Gast der Philharmonie, Prager Presse (28 November 1931), p. 7; CB 1523].

Radiojournal requests permission to perform Talich's arrangement of Me vlasti for large orchestra on 28 October [1931]. VaT asks if ViT could call Radiojournal and tell them that this modification was created impromptu during the exams in the year 1924 and her sketches would already be hard to find. So he cannot satisfy Radiojournal.
