Content and physical description
Content[The content of the letter overlaps for the most part with letter ID 9148] The Bohuslav Martinů Foundation began its activities on the day of the composer's 85th birthday. [Josef] Páleníček was elected chairman, [Jaroslav] Mihule vice-chairman, Vladimír Ševčík and Richard Klos are members of the board of directors. The transport of the BM remains to Polička is being resolved. Ambassador Lorenc informed the CHF that Paul Sacher would like the remains of BM to be transported to Vieux-Moulin. However, the CHF would prefer that they be transported to Polička, which, as the writer points out, is also the wish of the ChM.
[Further information is not included in letter ID 9148] The CHF will look for ways to carry out the original intention without harming the Sachers in any way. JP and JM will arrive in France on 27 or 18 December 1975, to be determined.
