ContentWilli Strecker is pleased that Samuel Dushkin is satisfied with the proofs of Martinu's SUITE CONCERTANTE and awaits his further corrections. He also wants to give him the difficult manuscript that he has not yet dared to do. But that will have to wait, as SD has given up his trip to Europe for this year. Martinů, who needs the money, has sold all the rights to the SUITE CONCERTANTE for a lump sum and will only receive the rights to perform it.

WS is sorry to hear that SD has fallen ill. Fortunately, there is still plenty of time before the recording session in New York. WS hopes they will meet soon in full freshness.
