ContentAttached to the letter is a contract of cooperation between the two publishers. Vojtěch Strnad speaks about paragraph 8. The letter also includes a Czech version of the contract for Mrs Harford [?], VS asks for one signed copy to be returned to Boosey & Hawkes, B&H will then send this signed copy back. VS apologises for not doing so sooner but this period is debilitating. He asks for a piano lift of La Locandiera [for the opera MIRANDOLINA BM himself set the libretto to the original Italian text of La Locandiera by Carlo Goldoni] by Martinů to be sent to the National Theatre in Prague. The State Theatre in Brno [NDB] in turn asked Boosey & Hawkes for a piano lift of Benjamin Britten's new ballet Prince from the Land of the Pagodas.
