Content and physical description
ContentKarel Šebánek thanks Ernst Roth for his efforts in the matter of his visa, it has already arrived. He has sent the material of Janáček's overture Jealousy by airmail and hopes it has arrived correctly. The U.[niversal] E.[dition] was interested in it, so he sent it to ER instead, so that the whole Janáček affair could somehow be broken up. Until 1959, the Lachian Dances and Taras Bulba were assigned to Univ. [ersal] Edition for the whole world. The other works will be discussed and KS hopes to preserve them for them [Boosey & Hawkes]. The orchestral material of Suk's Asrael is the property of Breitkopf - Härtel, so KS cannot send it. KS hopes that, despite all the difficulties involved in the journey, all matters concerning the orchestral material will be discussed.
