ContentMiloslav Rechcígl asks Vladimír Vaňek if he would write a 30-minute lecture on Bohuslav Martinů, whom he said he knew very well, for the planned congress of the Society for Sciences and Arts. The congress will be held from 11 to 13 September 1964 at Columbia University. The lecture is expected to be in English. VV is to send a brief abstract of the paper in English, if necessary, by return. MR thanks for the prompt reply.
