Content and physical description
ContentKarel Nejdl asks Bohuslav Martinů to dedicate one of his compositions to Karlovy Vary. It will be performed as part of the celebration of the 600th anniversary of the town's foundation. BM would do Karlovy Vary a great honour. KN admires his work and recalls their time together in Paris at Christmas in 1924, when they ended up in the studio of the sculptor [Vilém] Brázda after a night walk. He also remembers [Ladislav] Kolda and Vlasta Hálková and the other girl, whose name he no longer remembers. He remembers that Brázda was working on a bust of BM at the time, and this bust was also in the photograph of Brázda's studio that the CN donated to the Brázda Museum of Monuments in Horník. He regrets that nothing more is known about this bust.
