ContentProkop Laichter and his wife Věra Jičínská celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on 15 November [1955]. PL greets Bohuslav and Charlotte Martin and reminisces fondly about old times and friendly meetings in Paris, when they lived apart, discovered new gramophone records and talked about music in 1930-1931. He admires BM's musical work and wishes him spiritual well-being and the fulfilment of his musical ideas and themes. VJ throws a fit after a serious accident with a cane. PL and VJ spend a lot of time in the Eagle Mountains in Říčky, where there are quite a few artists scattered around the cottages. VJ paints flowers, one of which she gave to BM.
