ContentBohuslav Martinů rewrites an article entitled "Czechoslovak artistic success: (Paris, January 10.)" Právo lidu 13/1 28. The very fact that [Sergei] Koussevitzky accepted the work for his concerts testifies that it is an original and valuable work. BM came to Paris with his bare hands relying only on his work and his talents. Those of our people who can do something will not be lost in the world. The world mercilessly returns all the mediocrity that our official art wants to impose on it in a patriotic package, but it can appreciate the spark of originality when it finds it in a Czech artist.
