ContentBohuslav Martinů sends Vladimír Vaňek a text for refreshment, which was obviously written by an amateur on a typewriter, and so there are various typos and errors, which BM tries to correct in the footnotes. What follows is a hilarious text entitled "Impressions from the travels of a young traveller" written by BM, which contains various humorous abbreviations, the beginning of the text: "So we took out our waistcoats and stayed the whole way in the avion", corrected "So we took out our waistcoats and stayed the whole way in the avion". Etc.
