ContentMiloš Šafránek thanks [František Martinů] again for his welcome in Polička. The material he provided there is very useful for his work [presumably for the book Bohuslav Martinu: Life and Work, SHV 1961], and MŠ only regrets that he was in too much of a hurry and did not have time to talk with FM and Maria Martinů (in Žamberk) in peace. He enquires about the Šmíds, Honzíček [Jan Janele] and [Václav Karel] Rippel, about whom BM often writes. BM sends greetings to the Pražans (to whom he also writes at the same time), to Popelka and [Trotten?].
