ContentCopy of Karel Šebánek's baptismal certificate. The original was issued by the Dean's Office in Slane on 6 April 1934 (signed by the chaplain P. Ludvík Spurný).

On his father's side Karel Šebánek has grandparents Antonín Šebánek, a potter from Buckov and Terezia, née Hrdličková from Smečno.
On his mother's side KŠ has grandparents Josef David, a master stonemason in Zdice and Antonia, née Duchoňová from Stašov.
His godfather was Vojtěch Linhart - a master joiner in Slany.
