ContentBohuslav Martinů informs Vladimír Vaňek that he is already packing his brilliant manuscripts into a small suitcase and trying to get to grips with the Italian language and will appear in Rome with Charlotte [Martinů] next week, probably on 4 October. He begs VV to let him know when they can visit him, so that he will not be so lonely in the beginning and talk in Czech. He gives the address of the American Academy and writes that he is comfortable living outside the city like this. BM asks what "Gr. Cr." in front of VV's name.
