Content and physical description
ContentAnna Pečírková responds to Karel Šebánek's letter in which he asks her to lend him the manuscript of THREE SONGS ON THE TEXTS OF GUILLAUM APOLLINAIR, written for AP by Bohuslav Martinů. Unfortunately, AP could not satisfy KŠ, who would have liked to publish the songs in Pantone, as it had lent the manuscript to Miloš Šafránek in 1950. Even after many appeals, he has not returned it and AP fears that MŠ has exported her songs to France and sold them. The AP found out that Mrs. [Marie or Charlotta?] Martinů and Josef Löwenbach had similarly ended up with their manuscripts ["lent to MŠ"]. She therefore believes that they were all deceived by MŠ. She therefore asked the Ministry [of Culture] to intervene in the matter and to force MŠ to return the manuscripts. She would like to deposit them in the museum in Polička. Dr. [?] Reichlová forwarded the case to the director, who promised to contact MŠ, but AP has not received any further news about the resolution of the case.
