ContentBecause the hospitals are overcrowded and because Marie Martinů would fall ill in her cold apartment, she has been staying with Marie Pražanová for three weeks. MP is well with MM and MM gets a break from the grey everyday life. They chat until they come to the great acquaintance of Karel Šebánek and his "omniscience". She understands that everyone approaches KS with requests, she knows this herself from her time at the sawmill and 90% of the visits and letters were requests for something or someone. The thing is that Maria Prazanova's daughter (Vera Prazanova) is selling 1/2 of a villa in Brno but has been living in Prague for 13 years. MP is finding it hard to bear her emergency housing in the laundry loft on the sixth floor, so she is looking for a house/villa for her in Prague or nearby. As the owner, she would then have one room and MP could furnish her apartment with the furniture still in storage, whether VP gets married or not (she's out of luck in that regard, though). MP feels that something might move now, especially since VP would be paying cash. The pensioner-sellers would have it good because they would still be able to stay in the house after the sale, as VP only needs one room. He is asking the MP to ask the KS - if he knows of something to call the VP (834-09, 834-83, 717 line). He is asking the KS to ask the MP for some consideration so he can reciprocate. KS will inform MM separately about Bohuslav Martinů.
