Content and physical description
ContentMarie Martinů writes in place of František Martinů with the information that he received 400 K per month from the decision of the chairman of the State Pension Office in Prague, Evžen Erban, on the recommendation of the Central Union of Czechoslovak Artists, for which, according to MM, Karel Šebánek was responsible. He asks for information on who to thank, whether the office or EE. They are waiting for a letter from Bohuslav Martinů; after finishing the opera he is resting a bit, has ideas, and is waiting for the piano to arrive. FM also received a notice from the Union in Pardubice that they will be paying for lunches for the socially disadvantaged in the factory kitchens and as they have been taking them for two months, FM has made an application - now he doesn't know if, in view of the former, he should refuse any contribution. He asks for advice.
