ContentYesterday they received a note from Bohuslav Martinů from Portugal, dated 12/1. He hopes they are happily in place [in America]. He writes to Karel Šebánek at the temporary address of Germaine Leroux, 120 West 57 Street, New York City, N.Y. BM will have its premiere in Boston in March. Writes about the serious illness of Karolina Martinů, the doctor gives no hope, but they are taking care of KM as best they can. She is glad BM doesn't know about this, being in such a situation herself.
