Content and physical description

Content	The Ministry of Education and Culture encloses the record of the meeting of 19 December 1959. The record describes a meeting between Comrade Malek and [Vojtěch] Strnad, J. Novotný, [Karel] Šebánek, [Čeněk] Gardavský and [Magda] Rejchlova. Discussion of the will of Bohuslav Martinů of 11 November 1958. BM bequeathed part of his rights to his sister, but she died before him and therefore the universal heir is Charlotte Martinů, a US citizen. The inheritance must be heard in a special procedure in the Czech Republic, and until the hearing the property cannot be disposed of in the Czech Republic. According to the record of ChM's meeting with Comrade Deputy Prime Minister Václav Kopecký on 23/9/1959, it is necessary to propose to ChM the overall arrangement of BM's estate in the CSR. In particular, there are three issues. 2) the institutions of the Czechoslovak Republic will take care of the publication and worldwide promotion of the BM works for which no valid contracts have been concluded (the list will be prepared by the KS), as regards the stage works, the conditions were set by the BM itself in a memorial note of 15. 3) ChM will agree to the transfer of BM's remains to the Czechoslovakia with their placement in a tomb in Polička.
