ContentBohuslav Martinů thanks Jan Novák for the letter from Pavel Bořkovec. BM apologizes that he is late in replying, he is still not "together" enough, he is not feeling well and is postponing everything. BM would also like to be home already, but everything is going against his plans and depends on many circumstances concerning his health. Even if he were to return, he would not be able to learn, concentrate and be in more company, which can only be fixed with time. What position is Pavel Bořkovec in and how will he arrange it with the students at the conservatory? BM is sorry. He is waiting for the return of his wife [Charlotte Martinů], who liked Prague. She will help him with the move. The definite date of return could be next spring, when BM will hopefully be able to do something. Does PB have time to compose?
