ContentBM thanks for the check that came today. A.E. didn't cash it. Rudy [Rudolf Firkušný] came by as always before he left, he was very discreet, he is back in Italy and has a number of concerts. BM doesn't have a piano yet, so he is still idle. Maybe he will look into Italy to see Ruda as a protest in November. He would like to work already, but it's boring without a piano, so he's waiting for one to be sent to him from Paris. No one writes, I guess everyone thinks he's back in N.Y. Won't Frank be going to the wedding soon? Now that M.K. [?] has a wedding dress, she should take advantage of it. Nothing special about the house, except that it's very cold and they don't have any heat.
