ContentAlexandr Bozděch explains to Charlotte Martinů the situation regarding the book [Miloš] Šafránek plans to publish. MŠ assures him that he is not planning to publish Bohuslav Martinů's letters in book form. He only plans to publish articles about BM, his notes, an autobiography and an obituary for [Stanislav] Novák. These are therefore only materials related to his compositional - and therefore impersonal - activities in 1943, 1944, 1945 and 1958. BM agreed to the publication of the book in two letters dated 1957 and 1958. AB adds that it is difficult to legally refute this fact, as the author's consent is required for the book to be published, and then, after his death, the consent of his widow and descendants. Although it is clear that MoS is not very friendly to ChM, AB cannot do much about this.
